The Barn in South Milton is a lovely and exceptional wedding venue in Devon and is actually the place me and my husband got married, so it holds a special place in my heart.

The environment is ideal for your very special day because of its rustic charm and outstanding height. A venue offering panoramic views of the surrounding coastline, the sea, and Devon’s rolling countryside.

The Barn at South Milton has been carefully renovated to create a magnificent and distinctive venue while retaining all the rustic beauty of the original barn. The interior of the barn has been meticulously turned into a beautiful and entrancingly rustic space by using reclaimed wood as siding and hanging fairy lights throughout.

Each crevice of the barn has been painstakingly transformed into a special, laid-back setting that is full of charm and character. The ideal location for everyone to unwind and take in the atmosphere.

The exterior courtyard offers breathtaking views of the sea, making it the ideal place to unwind and create a unique backdrop for those important wedding photos.

Up to 150 people can dine in the Main Barn, while up to 30 people can have a more private meal in the Stables Barn. The front paddock with views of the ocean or the barn is both options for the ceremony location.

Your guests can stay for the weekend, either in their own tents or by renting one of the exquisitely furnished, bell tents. A three-bedroom house is also available for you to rent.

Colehayes Park is a stunning Grade II Listed Georgian mansion made of granite that is situated on 20 acres of exclusive forest. Colehayes, one of the biggest self-catering properties in the UK, is situated on the outskirts of the breathtaking Dartmoor National Park and has room for up to 80 people.
