Frequently asked questions.

Faq.

We would like to book you! What now?

Yay! Get in touch via the contact page to check my availability and tell me all about your plans. To secure your date, I require a contract to be signed and a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 3 months before the wedding.

Can we meet before we book?

Absolutely! I love meeting couples for a cuppa and chat. I have a rough radius of 5 miles which covers Cranleigh, Guildford, Godalming, Dorking & Horsham. Or we can arrange a FaceTime chat from the comfort of your own home! However a meeting is not cruicial; many of my couples live far away and we always hit it off on the big day!

How far do you travel?

I am a Devon wedding photographer, but I have also photographed weddings throughout the South East of England. I’m happy to travel anywhere, but anywhere outside of Devon and the surrounding counties may incur an additional fee to cover fuel, which we can discuss at the time of your booking.

What happens before our wedding?

A month before your wedding I will send you a simple questionnaire to fill out, which includes timings of the day, group photos and other details you need me to know. We will also meet or have a FaceTime chat if needed. This preparation means the day goes smoothly and nothing is missed!

How long will it be until we receive all of our photos?

As I hand edit each photo, I aim to have them with you in 4 to 6 weeks (& to keep you going I can post sneak peeks on Instagram & Facebook)

Can we print the photos?

Absolutely! You have a perpetual print license to do with your photos as you wish. But don’t forget, the pro labs I use produce better colours, sharpness and quality, showing off your photos to their absolute best!

Are you insured?

Yes, I have Public Liability Insurance (certificate available upon request) and my equipment is insured too!

What if your equipment fails on the day?

I am prepared for anything! I have two camera bodies and many lenses, lots of spare batteries and memory cards. My camera also writes to 2 memory cards just in case of card corruption.
